Last updated October 19, 2026. This notice describes the LexiSphere mobile game, companion website, and connected account services.
Information used by the service
Account services use your email, player name, account identifiers, saved progress, and authentication information. Game services record challenge attempts and completion results. Community services retain messages, reports, and moderation actions. Hosting providers process connection information needed to deliver and protect the service.
Public rankings and collections
Leaderboards display player names, ranks, and completion times. Your collection is shared only when you publish your Archive. A published Archive can show your avatar, border, title, pets, achievements, and cosmetics. Making your Archive private removes that collection from the public viewer; it does not remove eligible leaderboard results.
Authentication and storage
Supabase provides account and game-data services. Cloudflare and the website hosting service deliver the website. Essential cookies keep you signed in. This website does not currently include advertising pixels or optional marketing analytics.
Website language preference is saved in an essential cookie.
Age choice and private play
Starting with Android release version 16, the mobile game asks for an age band before online services start. The choice is stored only on that device; LexiSphere does not request or send a date of birth. Players under 18, players who prefer not to answer, and players whose age is unknown use private play. Private play does not initialize AdMob, connect to account or cloud services, process purchases, publish rankings or collections, or open social sharing. Local gameplay and saved progress remain on the device. Adult players can use the optional online features described in this notice. Existing online credentials are not restored in private play, and existing local progress is preserved.
Mobile advertising and consent
LexiSphere uses Google AdMob to show rewarded ads and occasional interstitial ads. Google and its advertising partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and ad-performance information as described in Google’s policies. The Google User Messaging Platform presents consent choices where required. Advertising consent is separate from the proposed research described below.
Optional gameplay analytics in the next mobile update
The next analytics-enabled update will offer adult players separate, optional choices for gameplay analytics and advertising measurement in Settings > Privacy. Both choices start off. Google Firebase Analytics can measure app visits, tutorial progress, first words found, puzzle attempts and outcomes, active play time, app version, technical device information, automatically recorded store-purchase and ad-performance events (such as product, price, currency and ad performance), and an app-instance identifier. Google may process connection information, including IP-derived approximate location. Players can keep playing without opting in. Private play, minors and unknown-age players do not enable this analytics integration.
If advertising measurement is also enabled, Google can associate advertising interactions with consented app activity to help us understand which campaigns bring players who play and return. Personalized advertising remains disabled in this integration. The analytics adapter does not send account email, player name, cloud saves, word traces or an account user ID. This measurement is separate from AdMob privacy choices and is not research participation.
Players can withdraw either choice in Settings > Privacy. Turning gameplay analytics off stops future collection and resets the local analytics identifier; this does not itself erase events already received by Google. Contact privacy@lexisphere.app for questions or deletion requests; do not email passwords or recovery codes. User and event data retention is configured to two months without extending the window on each new visit. Standard aggregate reports may retain data differently. See Google's privacy policy and Firebase privacy information. This section describes the forthcoming update; earlier app versions do not gain this SDK remotely.
In-app purchases
Apple App Store and Google Play process payments for hint packs and ad-removal products. LexiSphere receives product, transaction, receipt, and entitlement information needed to verify and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
Music and YouTube
The jukebox loads YouTube only when you choose to listen. The embedded player then connects to Google/YouTube, which may process connection data and use cookies under its own privacy policy. We use privacy-enhanced embeds, but playback is still a third-party service. Stopping playback removes the player. Your music favorites are stored locally in this browser; clearing site storage removes them.
Proposed research
Our research roadmap is a proposal, not an active study. Visiting these pages does not enroll you or begin research collection. Any future study would require a separate invitation, participant information, and consent process.
How information is used
Information supports account recovery, saved collections, rankings, community safety, and service operation. Authorized staff can review reports and aggregate recorded game activity. Aggregate reports do not include player emails or private recovery saves.
Retention and your choices
Account data and cloud saves remain available while your account is maintained. Community records may be retained to review unresolved reports and protect the community. Sign out to clear this website’s local login session, or make your Archive private in account settings.
To request access, correction, or deletion, visit the account deletion page or email privacy@lexisphere.app from your account email. Identity verification may be required. Do not send passwords or recovery codes.
